Best known for the gruesome war film Man Behind the Sun, filmmaker Mou Tun-fei is a figure in Asian cinema equal parts obscure and controversial. Through the use of a wealth of materials as well as an in-depth interview with the filmmaker himself, Black Sunshine: Conversations with T.F. Mou aims to answer some important and relevant questions on this mysterious and fascinating director.
